MRI Referral Service

Burgess Diagnostics, the UK’s only dedicated mobile veterinary MRI service visits Abbey House Veterinary Hospital every month.

MRI scanning provides high quality images with excellent soft tissue differentiation without the use of radiation. MRI scans are
particularly useful in the diagnosis of neurological diseases but also in some orthopaedic conditions and soft tissue cancers.

The MRI scan will be assessed by the attending veterinary surgeon but are routinely submitted to imaging specialists VetCT for interpretation and an independent report.

MRI and CT are advanced imaging modalities. Our referral vets will be very happy to discuss which would be most suitable for your patient.
