The day of your pets operation has almost arrived and like all good owners you want to prepare them in the best way possible. So how do you do this? If you read and follow these instructions carefully you will have done all that you can to make their anaesthetic or sedative as safe as it can be.

Autumn is the time when hedgehogs will prepare for hibernation – look out for the underweight hedgehogs and offer them food and warmth.
Dogs and cats enter their senior years around the age of 7 and can begin to develop diseases such as diabetes, arthritis and cancer which can initially go unnoticed. We can work closely with you to evaluate your pet’s general health and we would advise you to consider arranging a routine health check with the vet every 6 rather than every 12 months as your pet becomes older.
We all love to see a new puppy, kitten or baby rabbit and sharing our lives with a pet can bring great pleasure but also requires commitment and responsibility. We can help you make the right choice of pet and our practice nurse can give you lots of free advice. Just ask!
