EU after Brexit

UPDATE from Animal and Plant Health Agency

The Government has now reached an agreement with the EU on a three-month Brexit extension. This means the UK will leave the EU on 31 January 2020, with an option to leave earlier if a deal is ratified. This means that the UK will not leave the EU on 31 October 2019.
During the extension period, pets will be able to travel to and from the EU under current pet travel rules and using their current EU pet passport.

Pet owners can continue to use the current EU pet passport until the date the UK leaves the EU.
