Shannon studied BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing with Middlesex University and qualified in 2022 after coming from a background in animal behaviour, qualifying in FdSc Animal Management and Behaviour from the University of Hull. She has previously worked in first opinion practice and enjoy all areas of nursing, although has found she particularly love dentistry, anaesthesia and helping owners with patient welfare. 

Shannon has three dogs; a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Lincoln, a Labrador cross Rottweiler called Raven, and a German Shepherd cross Rottweiler called Simba. She also has a guinea pig called Captain at home.
