Lisa Davies. BVM&S, Cert V.Ophthal, MRCVS

Lisa is a partner at Abbey House having graduated in 1989 from the Royal Dick – Edinburgh. She gained her certificate in veterinary ophthalmology in 1996 and has been seeing referrals since that time.

Lisa is pleased to see a variety of ophthalmological cases. She investigates and treats medical conditions such as uveitis and glaucoma, performs keratectomies, conjunctival pedical grafts, corneal foreign body removals and a variety of eyelid surgeries to manage conditions such as ectopic cilia and entropion.

Initial consultations may be up to one hour to allow time for introcular pressure assessment, gonioscopy, fundus examination and slit lamp biomicroscopy.

Owners can usually stay with their animals during these procedures. If surgery is necessary it may be performed that day or scheduled for a convenient time.

Lisa is a Clinical Director at Abbey House. She qualified in 1989 from the Royal Dick, Edinburgh and has worked in Leeds since that time. She gained a certificate in veterinary ophthalmology in 1996 and as well as consulting and operating from our Rothwell and Kippax branches she also sees ophthalmology referrals from other practices.
