Tom Clarke. BA, VetMB, Cert VR, Cert SAS MRCVS

Tom Clarke is a partner at Abbey House. He graduated from Cambridge in 1983 and has been in small animal practice ever since. He gained his radiography certificate in 1986 and small animal surgery in 1998.

His interests include all aspects of diagnostic imaging, particularly abdominal ultrasound. He will perform fine needle aspirates and tru-cut biopsies under ultrasound guidance.

The practice has a Siemans CT scanner allowing detailed examination of all body areas and referrals to specialist radiographers for reporting can be arranged.

Gastrointestinal endoscopy and bronchoscopy can be performed with a range of flexible scopes and diagnostic samples taken as appropriate.

In addition, the practice has a full range of Karl Storz rigid endoscopes suitable for rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, vaginoscopy, otoscopy as well as laparoscopy.

Diagnostic Imaging

Tom is a Clinical Director at Abbey House. He graduated from Cambridge in 1983 and has been in small animal practice ever since. He specialises in radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. He is also able to perform laparoscopic surgery which is less invasive than open surgery and results in reduced post-op pain and more rapid recoveries.
