Exciting development in Rabbit Preventative Health Care

We are pleased to announce an exciting development in Rabbit Preventative Health Care, with the arrival of the new combined Myxomatosis and Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease Vaccination.

The vaccination is a single dose and lasts for 12 months, with an annual booster each year. We would like to invite you to bring your rabbit for vaccination at a special clinic run by our rabbit vet, Trudi Pardoe MRCVS, with support from veterinary nurse Angela Shaw RVN. Both have a keen interest in rabbit veterinary medicine and surgery, and are enthusiastic rabbit owners.

Myxomatosis and Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease are both fatal diseases, which with the new vaccination are now fully preventable. We would be delighted to welcome you and your rabbit to the clinic on Saturday 21st April 2012 at Abbey House Veterinary Hospital, Morley.

Appointments will last 20 minutes per rabbit, which will include a free health check and advice on diet, preventative healthcare and any other topics you wish to discuss. We will cover the latest information in rabbit health care.

The cost of the vaccination is £20.79 per rabbit, and there will be an opportunity to buy some healthcare products at a discounted price on the day.

As places are limited, please phone Abbey House Veterinary Hospital, Morley on 0113 2525818 to book your vaccination appointment. Unfortunately, we cannot accept rabbits without appointments.

If your rabbit's vaccination is not due at the moment, dont worry this new vaccination will be available when it is.
