Abbey House Charity Projects

We have been busy this summer helping two good causes. We have had staff cake sales through out the summer to raise money for Pet Savers, this is a charity founded by veterinary surgeons to promote the study of medical and surgical conditions without the use of experimental animals.

Pet Savers is the UK's leading veterinary charity provider of grants solely dedicated to supporting clinical research into companion animal diseases helping pets enjoy longer and healthier lives.

We have currently raised £270 and we have two more sales to go.

Our second charity project is blankets for Yorkshire Cat Rescue a charity based in Haworth. One of our very kind clients has been knitting squares and members of our team have been stitching them together to make blankets. These will go to Yorkshire Cat Rescue to keep our feline friends comfy until they are found new forever homes. We have 15 blankets ready to go with more squares waiting!
