About the Surgery

Abbey House, Kippax opened in June 2007. The branch was extended in September 2008 to include an operating theatre, x-ray and laboratory facilities. Pets admitted at the Kippax and Rothwell branches for routine operations such as neutering or dentals are treated at Kippax.

The clinic now has three receptionists, a veterinary nurse and veterinary surgeon.

There is free parking both on the roadside in front of the clinic and also in a car park to the rear of the premises.

Trudi Pardoe

Trudi graduated as a vet from the University of Bristol and has been part of the Kippax team since the branch opened in 2007. She has a strong interest in feline medicine and is a member of the International Society of Feline Medicine. Her other clinical interests are rabbit and small mammal medicine and surgery, and she enjoys providing veterinary care for these popular pets to clients over a wide area of Yorkshire. In her spare time she looks after her 3 house- rabbits, 4 Siamese cats and Eric, her black and white rescue cat.
